Currently Beck’s site is a platform for his “Record Club,” an ad-hoc group of his friends who come together to record covers of entire albums by other artists, recording a song a day, looks like. Audios/videos are posted to his site. Instant gratification! I mean, for me. Can’t get anymore direct than this. This is a mix of talent, generosity, and - the low item on the totem pole - technology. And who doesn’t need more INXS, right now?
